PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Unique insect light trap which uses light to attract insects which are active at night. There is a small fan which spins when the light is on. This fan serves as the mechanism used to kill unsuspecting insects. As they fly toward the light, the fan will cut them up. The fan has four arms to which heavy monofilament is attached – much like a weed whacker. This line is thick and will last forever. The dead insects can then either be collected for cleanup or the light can be positioned over an area where the bugs can be left for “mulching”. This model runs off a deep cycle 12 volt battery and can be set out just about anywhere. If you have access to an electric outlet, consider getting the 110 volt model.
WHERE TO USE IT: Outside on a deck, patio, alongside a doorway, garages, picnic areas, camp grounds and just about any place outside where flying insects are a problem during the night.
